<idPurp>The purpose of the Chesapeake Bay Critical Area (CBCA) Remapping effort is to provide an updated critical area map for the Counties of Maryland. The County will have two years, from the date of official transmission of final data layers, to adopt the proposed CBCA and its designations as the official map for the County.</idPurp>
<idAbs>&lt;DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Buffer line is a result of converting the 1000-foot buffer of tidal shoreline and landward edge of tidal wetlands, to a line so that it can be used as the landward boundary of the Critical Area. • Digitizing of polygon water features ends where the feature visually becomes a line
• Consideration was given to tree canopy and shadows
• When faced with doubt about whether or not shoreline runs under a structure, error on the side the landward edge and intersect at 90 degrees (flag area for review by local representatives)
